Cookie policy
What Deali stores in your browser, why, and how you can choose.
Effective from 9 October 2026. Version 1.4.
This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Latvian version prevails: Latvian version.
In short. Three kinds of cookies are stored in your browser: technical ones, without which the site would not work (session, your settings, an unfinished search), analytics, with which we ourselves count how the site is used, and marketing (Meta Pixel), with which we measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. Analytics and marketing cookies work only with your consent, both are off by default, and you can change your choice at any time.
1. Cookies or something else
Deali hardly uses classic cookies at all. Instead, the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage are used. The practical difference is that they are not sent to the server with every request but remain only on your device. Legally, the same rules apply to them, so on this page the word "cookie" means anything stored in your browser.
2. What exactly we store
| Key | What it is needed for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Technical (always) | ||
deali.auth |
Sign-in session, so that you do not have to enter your password every time | Until you sign out of your account |
deali.set |
Your interface settings: images in the table, density | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.notify |
How you wish to receive notifications | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.draft, deali.pending
|
An unfinished search, so that it is not lost while you create an account | Until the search is saved |
deali.lang |
The language you have chosen (Latvian, English or Russian) | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.contrast, deali.textsize
|
Accessibility choices: high contrast and larger text | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.off, deali.offfix
|
Which portals you have switched off | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.view |
Which search was open, so that you return to it after the page reloads | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.viewed.* |
When you last viewed each search, so that the "New" label appears only on what is genuinely new | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.beta.ask |
Your beta (test) feedback choice while you sign in with Google and return | Until the choice is attached to your account |
deali.cookie |
Your cookie choice (whether analytics is allowed) | Until you change your choice or browser data is cleared |
| Analytics (only with your consent) | ||
deali.open, deali.t1.*
|
When the app was last opened and which one-off events have already been recorded, so that they are not counted twice | Until browser data is cleared |
deali.tsid, deali.visit (sessionStorage)
|
A random tab identifier and a marker that the visit has already been recorded. It contains nothing about you and does not survive the tab being closed | Until the tab is closed |
| Marketing (only with your consent) | ||
_fbp (cookie, Meta Pixel) |
Meta Pixel identifier with which Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. measures whether someone visited Deali or created an account after our ad. Meta receives the page address, IP address, browser data and the events "page view" and "registration". We do not send email, phone or search content. If you are logged in to Facebook, Meta may also use its own cookies on the facebook.com domain under its own policy | 90 days |
deali.px.* |
A mark that the registration event has already been sent, so it is not sent twice | Until browser data is cleared |
3. Your choice
On your first visit the cookie bar has three buttons: "Allow all", "Necessary only" and "Choose", where analytics and marketing can be switched on separately. Until you choose, neither analytics nor Meta Pixel runs.
Analytics is our own count: site visits, registration and search creation steps, app opens and clicks on listings. It goes only to our own database. More: privacy policy.
Marketing is Meta Pixel. It shows us how many people opened Deali and created an account after our Facebook or Instagram ad, and lets Meta show ads to people similar to our visitors. The legal basis is your consent.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the
bottom of the page. If you withdraw analytics, it stops immediately and the tab
identifier is deleted. If you withdraw marketing, Meta Pixel stops sending data
immediately and is not loaded on the next visit; you can delete _fbp in
your browser settings.
4. External requests
Equally important is where your device sends requests at all:
- Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google. Google does not learn about your visit.
- Supabase (Frankfurt) receives requests related to your account: sign-in, profile data, saved searches and usage events.
- Google receives a request only if you yourself choose the "Continue with Google" button.
- Listing images are loaded from the portals the listing comes from. This means that the portal concerned sees your device's IP address, just as if you had opened its page yourself.
- Meta (connect.facebook.net, facebook.com) receives requests only if you have allowed marketing cookies. Without that consent the Meta script is not loaded.
5. How to delete all of this
You can delete your account in the settings, and the server-side data is then deleted as well. You can clear what is stored in your browser in the browser settings, in the section on site data. If you do so, you will be signed out of your account and your settings will return to their defaults.
6. Changes
If the list changes, we also change this page and the date at the top of it. We will notify you separately of significant changes, for example if third-party analytics were ever to appear, and will ask for your consent again.
